If you received a parking ticket and wish to dispute the issuing
of the ticket, please contact us at (519) 271-0250, extension 230.
You will be asked to complete a form with the complaint
particulars and consideration will be given to your submission.
Should the City choose to maintain its position that
the parking ticket was duly issued, you or your agent may choose to proceed
through the Provincial Offence process which will require a court date
to be established.
Proceedings are held in Stratford at the Courts and convened
by a local justice.

The Early Payment (lower fine) applies if the ticket is paid within 5
days of being issued, excluding weekends and holidays.

Pay by cheque by depositing envelopes in one
of the yellow fine-o-meter boxes located on
Market Place Island, Ontario Street--in front
of Long and McQuade or Floralcraft, and
the Albert Lot.
Envelopes can also be deposited
in the mail slot of drop box located beside the rear entrance doors of City Hall.

All on street meters in the city core are limited to a total of 2 hours. Meaning,
vehicles must vacate the parking space within 2-hours or be subject to a fine.

There are long term (12 hour) meters and free
parking located in the downtown core. Please refer to the parking
map
for directions.
