and Research (CECR).

key milestones in plans for university campus
STRATFORD, Ont. (Thursday, March 27, 2008) -- The University of Waterloo and
the City of Stratford are celebrating key milestones
in their effort to develop a UW campus specializing
in digital media and global business in Stratford.
The city and the university are this week celebrating pledges from three key
supporters -- the City of Stratford, the Province
of Ontario and corporate leader Open Text -- to establish
the Stratford Institute, a key component of the UW-Stratford
Campus proposal. October 2006
The University of Waterloo, the City of Stratford
and the Stratford Festival of Canada are taking
the first steps toward opening a liberal arts
college. The three parties have signed a Memorandum
of Understanding
on October 16, 2006.
