Please be advised that the following streets will be temporarily closed to vehicular
traffic on Sunday, November 29, 2009 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for Santa's
Parade of Lights. Questions regarding the temporary street closures should be

The Perth County Influenza Pandemic Plan is prepared by the Perth Emergency Planning for Health Care Group. The Plan details how the health and municipal sectors in Perth County will respond during an influenza pandemic. The plan is to ensure that we are ready and prepared to protect the public if and when an influenza pandemic arrives in Perth County.

Torch Relay Coming to Stratford

The Olympic Torch will be coming through Stratford on Sunday, December 27th,
2009. We have been chosen as a Celebration Community and the torch will be
stopping in Market Square before heading on towards Kitchener/Waterloo. Several
Stratford citizens will be chosen to carry the torch as it makes its way through
the city. A committee has been working with VANOC on plans for our celebration
which includes activities beginning early in the morning and running until
mid afternoon.
We need your help! If you would like to volunteer to be part of

The regulation outlining the rules and exceptions around the cosmetic pesticides ban was passed into law on March 4, 2009 and will take effect April 22, 2009. The new Pesticides Act, which has been amended by the Cosmetic Pesticides Ban Act, will come into force on April 22, 2009.
